Today is Firefighters Memorial Sunday. The graves at both of our Boston Firefighters cemetery plots, at Forest Hills Cemetery Jamaica Plain, and Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park, are historically decorated by active and retired members of the Boston Fire Department. This year, due to the risk associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was scaled back to include only members of the Boston Firefighters Charitable and Local 718 President & Vice President, Commissioner Dempsey, and clergy
